Ramses Ramirez

Ramses Ramirez, ELSI, Tokyo, Japan

Dr. Ramirez is a research scientist (at the Earth-Life Science Institute) that studies potentially habitable worlds. He develops atmospheric models to assess the physical processes that make planets habitable, including improving definitions of the habitable zone that are used to target potentially habitable worlds. He also studies the habitability of worlds within our solar system to better understand extrasolar planet habitability.
